I’m very attracted to the paint splatter look. I love it as a way to combine bright colors and its just fun. I made these paint splatter shoes in less than 30 minutes (not including drying time). Can’t wait to wear them with a simple dress or jeans.
First, choose your color pallette and your shoes. I found these great shoes at our local Goodwill and the paints are of the $1 craft store variety. I chose thick, coarse brushes for larger splatters. If you want a more subtle look, use brushes with softer bristles.
Experiment with your technique and color combinations on paper before letting loose on your shoes.
You can wear these as is, or coat with a light spray polyacrylic sealant.
Enjoy!
