I found this great tip a today on A Beautiful Mess blog. Within minutes, I had some prints hanging which had previously been stored in a drawer since Christmas (I know, shameful). I’m so excited I don’t have to wait to get these matted and framed and can enjoy them right now.

Everyone loves a freebie, right? I’ve acquired these enormous cork boards from a GreenBeing estate sale and I’ve been scouring Pinterest and my favorite design blogs for free printables to fill my studio boards and wall space.

This Calender of the Month paper craft from Scout Creative tops my list. Sign up for their monthly printable calendar to be delivered to your inbox. Just print, assemble and enjoy. Great kids project as well.

These beautiful vintage camera images from DesignEditor look fantastic framed but I plan to mount them on my cork board.

I hung out with Cristin at GreenBeing this Saturday. We had fun planning and chatting it up about a very exciting (and somewhat secret, for now) business (ad)venture we are about to embark upon. Freaking out a little but mostly excited. I’m glad I brought my camera because the sunlight was perfect and the store was full of colorful, pretty things.

I love the way you can see the reflection of trees in the window. Very fitting.

Vacation in Mexico- Vintage Travel Guide Style

Just got back from the most amazing trip to Mexico. After being inspired by my collection of vintage travel guides, I couldn’t help trying to recreate the look and feel with my own photos.

Kitty apparently also enjoys vintage travel guides.

This breathtaking little beachfront felt more like we were in the south of Italy than Mexico.

Swimming with the fish in a saltwater pool. This was my favorite spot. Check out the man in a speedo on the right. Felt very European.

Bust Craftacular at The Seed: Our highlights

I’ve been meaning to post some highlights from the Bust Craftacular at The Seed: A Vegan Experience in Soho, NYC. I had such a blast vending with GreenBeing and Fisher Cat Fiber Co. We met so many interesting people!

GreenBeing’s vintage dress collection.

Lovely upcycled and reconstructed jewelry from The Hand of Fatima. I love the brothel pendents made cast from the original token molds from the 1800s.

Delicious vegan comfort food from LoveBug Kitchen. Loved the chili espresso BBQ tacos. They also had a chocolate “bacon” maple shake that I regret not trying.

Boto Designs: A Japanese inspired robot and plant art land created by Chen Reichert via botodesigns. As a former American-living-in-Japan myself, I loved this work and the little world she’s created.

Brooklyn based Vaute Couture had some of the sweetest, most precious dress designs I’ve seen. I love love love the classic cuts and bright patterns.

The ‘no fur for this gurl’ patches were also my favorite.

Fashion Blogger Rachel Kay is so sweet and has such great style!

GreenBeing’s ‘handmade in Scranton’ Eco-Friendly coffee sleeves were a crowd pleaser!

We had a blast which ended in a lovely dinner in Little Italy. Can’t wait to go back and do it again next year!
